The entire WAHEF staff and Pataase community says a very big thank you to @princessjade97 and @nursesbeyondborders for their massive dedication and great impact in providing free medical, dental and eye care for the children in Pataase Zion school. It’s always nice to welcome new volunteers to our family!!! Tabea, Anna and Jana from Germany would be interning at the University of Cape Coast and also work with us on our community mobile health clinic for 4 weeks. We’re excited to have them on board….
We were invited to Pataase Zion School today for their Awards Ceremony to congratulate students with high performances. The Ceremony was themed; “Quality Education; the role of parents and stakeholders”

Today, the team together with an intern from the University of Ghana, Legon visited Ekon Basic School and Dehia Eng/Arabic Basic School to educate and promote healthy Menstrual Hygiene.
We distributed brand new school uniforms to 45 children (26 boys/19 girls) at the Abura Obohen Methodist Basic School in the Central Region. Our massive gratitude goes to our partner @africanfoundationofwonder for their funding support.
